Beast Of Big Creek

The Beast of Big Creek is a challenging mountain trail running event held at Big Creek Campground near Hoodsport on the Olympic Peninsula, Washington. Featuring three race options, it includes a 22K (14-mile) Skyrace certified by the International Skyrunning Federation, which ascends over 5,300 feet to the summit of Mount Ellinor and back. A shorter 8K (5-mile) Forest Loop offers a scenic run through old-growth forest with 1,200 feet of elevation gain.

New for 2025 is the Double Beast, combining both races over two days for a total of 30K and 6,500 feet of vertical gain. The event emphasizes a festive atmosphere with aid stations, a finish line party, camping, and a Trail Running Film Festival.
