The Beau Bear 5K and 1K Fun Run takes place on April 11, 2026, in Granbury, TX at Hewlett Park, 621 E. Pearl Street. The event includes the following options:

Registration opens January 26, 2026. Entry fees before March 17 are listed as: 5K $35, 1K $20. Fees after March 17 are listed as: 5K $40, 1K $25. The Sleep-In Supporter fee is $30. Entry fees are non-refundable and entries are non-transferable.
Race details
Packet pickup and same-day race registration are available; registration closes 20 minutes before each event. All proceeds benefit the Beau Bear Organization, a nonprofit that provides financial aid, household essentials, and emotional support to families after the sudden loss of a child. Runners will arrive at the finish area in time to get breakfast, coffee, and enjoy on-site entertainment.
Awards for the 5K include trophies for Overall Male and Female and Masters (40+) Male and Female. All 5K finishers receive a medal. Age group awards (male and female, three places) cover: 0-10, 11-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80+. The 1K awards ribbons to all finishers.
