Because of the Brave 5K

The Because of the Brave 5K is a special event held on Memorial Day to honor the brave men and women who sacrificed their lives for the freedom of the United States. Participants are required to carry a 2’x 3’ American flag during the run/walk, symbolizing their tribute. The event takes place at the American Village in Montevallo, Alabama, featuring a scenic 5K course that is accessible for strollers and wheelchairs.
