About the race
Bee the Light 5K, in New Palestine, Indiana, at Southeastway Park, is the fourth annual event hosted by The Shelby Foundation for Kindness Delivered. The race on a paved park trail invites runners and walkers to complete a 5K through a family-friendly campus featuring bike trails, a playground, shelters, an education center, wooded areas, and a pond. The atmosphere is family-friendly and community-focused.
Timed and scored by Bodies Race Company, top male and female finishers receive awards. Registration includes a T-shirt, bib, medal, swag bag, and photos. All proceeds support the International Rett Syndrome Foundation, in memory of a local individual who passed away in early 2022. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
