The 2026 Beecher Freedom 5K Run/Walk takes place on Saturday, July 4, 2026, in Beecher, Illinois. The event includes two entries:

Start, finish, and registration are at the Community Hall, 673 Penfield St, Beecher, IL 60401. The event is presented as the 20th annual Freedom 5K and is a fundraiser for the Beecher Lion's Club. Pre-registration entry fee is $18; race shirts are available for an additional $13. Race day registration is $25 and race day registrants are not eligible for shirts. No shirts are available after June 25.

The course winds through the Village of Beecher and includes a water station at the halfway point. Proceeds support local services provided by the Lion's Club, including vision screenings and assistance with eyeglasses and hearing aids for residents in financial need.
