Beer City Half™ Long Beach takes place at ShoreLine Aquatic Park in Long Beach. The running courses follow the waterfront and include sections on the LA River Trail. Event offerings include:

Festival features and event details

All race participants receive a shirt, a Key to Beer City finisher's medal, and a custom tasting glass. The Beer Stroll is a one-mile walk around ShoreLine Aquatic Park. The Beat The Beast Beer Mile requires participants to drink four 12-oz beers while running a mile; if the event’s Beer City Beast catches a participant, that person is removed from the race. Beer Tasting Only registration is open to ages 21 to 100.

The festival includes a Shindig with music, food trucks, and games; the ticket for the Shindig covers the first beer. The Beermazing Race challenges attendees to visit five brewers during the afternoon to drink a pint and follow clues. A Beer Trolley runs between ShoreLine Park (the start) and several local breweries, with vehicles arriving approximately every 45 minutes; trolley rides are available for registered participants at a discount and as separate tickets.
