Behind the Rocks Ultra in Moab, Utah, offers four distances — 50 Miler, 50K, 30K, and 10 Miler — beginning and ending at the Behind the Rocks Trail near the Behind the Rocks Wilderness Study Area. Runners traverse desert trails through smooth double track, sandy washes, technical doubletrack, and challenging singletrack, with some rim running that delivers views of arches and Navajo sandstone domes and fins. The race finishes below the La Sal Mountain Range, and participants can enjoy free camping at the start/finish and a supportive community.
