Berkeley Trail Adventure

Berkeley Trail Adventure is an Inside Trail Racing event set in Berkeley, CA, spanning Tilden Regional Park and Wildcat Canyon. Distances offered are 50K (31 miles), 35K (21.6 miles), half marathon (13 miles), and 10K. The course blends technical dirt trails and non-technical fire roads, with about 1.5 miles of asphalt bike path beyond Inspiration Point for the longer distances.

Elevation gains are roughly 6,800 ft (50K), 4,600 ft (35K), 2,800 ft (Half), and 1,050 ft (10K). Aid stations appear every 5–7 miles; it is a cupless event, dogs on leash are allowed, and blue ribbons mark “wrong way.” Finishers receive medals (50K gets a pint glass); race capacity is around 330 runners, with scenic views of the bay, Golden Gate Bridge, and Mt.
