Bernhardt Wine Run 5k
The Bernhardt Wine Run 5k is scheduled for Sunday, March 1, 2026, at Bernhardt Winery, 9043 County Rd 204, Plantersville, TX 77363. The event is a chip-timed 5k run/walk. Results will be posted online and the event is timed and scored by J3 Timing. The official course map and the event charity partner are being finalized and will be posted when available. Free race photos will be available for download.
Registration, awards and logistics
Registration includes a T-shirt (ring spun cotton), a shatterproof collapsible wine glass, a finisher medal that doubles as a bottle stopper, a chip-timed race bib, and a pour of wine. Minors receive a discounted registration that includes a shirt, medal and bib but they do not receive a wine glass or a wine pour. The event is open to ages 1 to 99; listed registration fees show $50 standard and $25 for ages 1-20, with a listed price increase after December 6, 2025.
Packet pickup is race day only and opens one hour before the event. A virtual participation option is available; attendees may pick up a packet and run on their own or request a shipped packet for an additional $10 shipping and handling fee. Age group awards are offered in 10-year categories through 80 and over; the top three finishers M/F in each category receive awards. Competitors must start with the first group to be eligible for age-group awards, which must be picked up the day of the event. Strollers are allowed but not recommended due to uneven ground, and children in strollers can participate free and do not need to register.
