The Berry Half/10K/5K takes place on March 7, 2026 at Berry College, 2277 Martha Berry Hwy., Mount Berry, GA 30149. The event includes these distances:
- Half Marathon
- 10K
- 5K
- Kids Fun Run
Published entry fees are $70 for the half marathon, $35 for the 10K, $30 for the 5K, and $5 for the Kids Fun Run. The Kids Fun Run registration ends March 6, 2026 at 11:00am EST. Half marathon finishers receive a finisher medal. All races provide post-race refreshments. Participant shirts are provided; shirts are guaranteed for early registrants and remaining shirts are distributed first come, first served. Age group awards are given.
Courses and logistics
All three road races are USATF certified and are open to runners and walkers. The half marathon runs on campus roads and trails, passes Frost Chapel, Berry College Elementary & Middle School, the Old Mill, WinShape dairy barns, and follows Possum Trot Road and the Viking Trail to the finish at the Ford Buildings. Most of the half course is paved with short sections on hard-packed dirt (mile 6-7) and gravel (mile 8-9). The 10K follows Lavender Mountain Road and the Viking Trail through main campus and includes a 25-yard unpaved wood section near mile 3.5; strollers are not allowed. The 5K begins and ends at the Ford Buildings, passes Hermann Hall and the log cabins, and follows Lavender Mountain Road and the Viking Trail; strollers are not allowed. Water and PowerAid are available at multiple stations on each course; two half-marathon stations also offer energy gels. Packet pickup is in Krannert Ballroom the day before and on race morning. The half-marathon has a four-hour course cutoff. Several items and devices are prohibited on course, and wheelchair athletes cannot be accommodated.
