Berryman 50 Mile and Marathon Trail Races

Registration

The Berryman 50 Mile and Marathon Trail Races take place at Berryman Campground in the Mark Twain National Forest, between Steelville and Potosi, Missouri. Competitors tackle the historic Berryman Trail, a roughly 26.4‑mile single‑track loop, with one loop for the Marathon and two loops for the 50‑Miler. The course is forested and consistently hilly, with about 2,500 feet of elevation gain per loop, plus rocks, roots, and occasional creek crossings.

Aid stations appear about every 5–6 miles, and the event is cupless. New for 2026, ITRA points are awarded (3 for the 50‑Mile, 1 for the Marathon), plus a post‑race BBQ and 26th‑anniversary swag. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
