Betsie Valley Trail Run

The Betsie Valley Trail Run takes place in Thompsonville, Michigan, along the Betsie Valley Trail. The event offers a Half Marathon, 10K, 5K, and a 1 Mile Fun Run. The Half, 10K and 5K courses are out-and-back on the flat rail-trail starting at the Webber Sports Complex; the Fun Run goes from the ballfield to the trail and back.

Runners view Dair Creek and the Betsie River, pass through wetlands and uplands on a trail built on a former Ann Arbor Railroad bed. Proceeds support the Friends of the Betsie Valley Trail; a tree-per-participant pledge accompanies the eco-friendly event. Finisher medals and age-group awards are given.
