Big Door Wine Run Turkey Trot 5k
The Big Door Wine Run Turkey Trot 5k takes place on Saturday, November 8, 2025, at Big Door Vineyards, 125 Clearwater Trail, White, GA 30184. The event is open to ages 1 to 99 and is a chip-timed 5k run/walk scored by J3 Timing. Parking is provided at Sutallee Baptist Church, 895 Knox Bridge Hwy, with a shuttle to the winery.
Race details
The course starts and finishes at the winery and is a two-lap cross-country style route with areas of uneven footing. Registration includes a T-shirt, a shatterproof collapsible wine glass, a wine glass shaped finisher medal, a chip-timed race bib, results posted online, and a pour of wine (minors do not receive a wine glass or wine pour). Packet pickup is race day only and opens one hour before the event. Virtual participation is available; participants may pick up a packet and run on their own or request packet shipping for an additional fee. The event partners with The Great Lake Allatoona Clean Up. Age group awards are offered by ten-year categories (for example 1-9, 10-19, 20-29, up to 80 & over); top finishers must start with the first group to be eligible and awards must be picked up on race day.
