Event details
The Rodeo Stampede - Tulsa takes place on Sunday, March 1, 2026, in the Tulsa area (postal code 74137). The event is organized by Bigfoot Running Company and is planned for parks and green belts. Mixed course surfaces are expected, including pavement, crushed granite, and occasional dirt paths. Packet pickup is offered beginning 1.5 hours before the event start.
Distances offered
- Kids Dash - about 50 meters, for ages 10 and under.
- 1 Mile - non-chipped, includes tee shirt and medal.
- 5K - 3.11 miles, chip timed, trophies and age group awards.
- Quarter Marathon - 6.55 miles, chip timed, trophies and age group awards.
- Half Marathon - 13.1 miles, chip timed, trophies and age group awards.
- Volunteer then Run 5K - limited to first 10 sign ups, chip timed.
- Virtual Run - virtual participation option.
Race features and awards
All finishers receive a race medal and a shirt. The 5K, quarter marathon, and half marathon offer 1st overall trophies for male and female finishers and special recognition pins for 1st place masters (age 40+). Standard age group awards are specified for multiple bands from 10 and under up to 70+ with gold, silver, and bronze pins for most bands. Aid stations will provide water on course. Snacks and refreshments will be available at the race rally tent. The event includes a cowboy costume contest; the crowd will select one winner who receives a free entry to a future Bigfoot race, the "Rodeo Runslinger" trophy, and a Bigfoot prize pack. A Bigfoot mascot and a DJ are planned for event entertainment.
