About the race
On October 4, 2025, the Bill G. Werner Memorial 5K+ Run takes place on the NYIT campus in Old Westbury, New York, at The Riland Building (600 Northern Blvd.). The event features a 3.3-mile course on campus to benefit the William G.
Werner Memorial Fund, supporting NYIT’s Doctor of Physical Therapy program. Participants can expect live results, free finish-line photos, and personalized bibs for early registrants. Awards are given to the top two overall finishers.
