The Bishop High Sierra Ultras, held at Millpond Recreation Area in Bishop, California, offers challenging high-altitude trail races including 6K, 20 Mile, 53K, 50 Mile, and 100K distances. The courses traverse scenic Eastern Sierra Nevada foothills, primarily on 4WD dirt roads with some single-track and pavement sections, featuring significant climbing and elevations mostly above 7,000 feet. The terrain is exposed, often hot and dry, with variable weather conditions.
