Black Dog Road Race

The Black Dog Road Race, held annually at Hubbard Park in Meriden, Connecticut, features a 10K, 5K, and a free Kids Fun Run. The 5K is an out-and-back course along the scenic Merimere Reservoir with rolling hills, while the 10K is one of Connecticut’s most challenging, covering 6.2 miles with over 750 feet of elevation gain in the first half, running from Hubbard Park to Castle Craig. The Kids Fun Run is a short 0.4-mile loop around the playscape area.
