Blue Bell Fun Run
The Blue Bell Fun Run is held in March 2026 in Brenham, Texas, and is presented by Run For the Youth of Washington County as the 48th annual event. The event offers multiple distances:
- Kids' 1-Mile (age 10 and under)
- 5K (walk or run)
- 10K (run)
- Half marathon
Runners follow a course through the hills of Brenham with bluebonnets and other wildflowers visible along the route. Every runner receives Blue Bell ice cream at the race. Each participant receives a t-shirt and a participant medal; half marathon participants receive an additional 13.1 t-shirt and a 13.1 medal.
Logistics, awards and registration details
Packet pickup is scheduled at Brenham High School, 525 A. H. Ehrig Drive, with an afternoon session on the Friday of the race weekend and a morning session on race day. Families or groups of four or more registered in one transaction receive a $5 discount per participant.
Awards are distributed at the awards table. Updated awards include medals for the top overall male and female, medals for the top three finishers in each age group, and participant medals for all finishers.
