Event overview
The Blueberry Cove Half Marathon is scheduled for August 23, 2026, at Blueberry Cove 4-H Camp in Tenants Harbor, Maine. The race is a 13.1 miles half marathon that raises funds for UMaine Cooperative Extension 4-H Camp & Learning Centers at Tanglewood & Blueberry Cove. Registration is $100, registration is capped at 250 participants, and online registration is required; there is no race-day registration. All participants receive a finisher medal. Awards are given to first-place male and female overall and in the age divisions 18 & under, 19-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70 plus.
Course and logistics
The course is a circumnavigation of the lower St. George peninsula with rural back roads, gentle hills, and ocean views. Notable route points include Port Clyde, Marshall Point Light House, Drift Inn Beach, and return to Blueberry Cove. Race features include mile markers for all 13 miles, hydration stations approximately every 2 miles, multiple porta-potties along the route, and finish times for participants. Bib pick-up is available the day before and on race morning. A pre-race dinner and a post-race buffet brunch are part of the event; awards are presented during the brunch.
