Bob Gurtler Memorial 5K

The Bob Gurtler Memorial 5K Run/Walk is held annually in The Plains, Virginia, starting at Grace Episcopal Church. The course takes participants through the town and down Hopewell Road to a halfway point before returning along the same route to the finish at the church. This event honors Bob Gurtler, a former mayor, chemical engineer, and lifelong runner who supported the local running community.
