About the race
The Boca Norman Tamanaha 15K kicks off Shaka Racing’s 2025 BioAstin Marathon Readiness Series in Honolulu, Hawaii, with a 15K distance at Kapiolani Park. This opening race is the first of four events (plus a bonus longer run) leading into the Honolulu Marathon, fostering a Hawaii-style, community-oriented atmosphere. For 2025, organizers have added features such as porta-potties at each venue, completely custom performance finisher shirts for the longer distances, and upgraded finisher medals.
A Team/Running Club category is planned, with discounts available to Mid Pacific Road Runner’s Club members. The series then travels to Kalaeloa for the 20K and to Kailua for two half marathons. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
