Born to Run 5 Mile Race

The Born to Run 5 Mile Race, organized by the Freehold Area Running Club, is an annual event held in Freehold, New Jersey. Now in its 39th year, the race starts in Downtown Freehold and takes runners through quiet neighborhoods and around scenic Lake Topanemus before finishing back in town. The event features a 5-mile race open to participants aged 10 to 100, as well as a 1-mile kids' race for ages 7 to 14.
