About the race
The Braveheart CAC 4th Annual Superhero 5K Run/Walk takes place at Baker Park in Kewanee, Illinois. This community-focused event raises awareness about child abuse, sexual assault, and mental health. Participants can run or walk the 5K course, with awards for all finishers and special recognition for the top three overall.
The event features a festive atmosphere where runners are encouraged to wear superhero costumes. A complimentary Kids Fun Run follows the main race, with goodie bags for all children. Additionally, a Community Resource Fair offers family activities and "Minute to Win It" games.
