About the race
The Bremond Turkey Trot is an annual community event held at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Bremond, Texas. It features a 5K Turkey Trot and a Kids Mashed Potato Mile, designed as a fun, non-timed run or walk for all ages.
The event supports the Bremond Public Library’s revitalization efforts, including creating a new children's area and community space. Participants enjoy a welcoming atmosphere with post-race music, homemade pies, fruit, and refreshments provided by local sponsors. Packet pickup is available the day before and on race day.
