Bright Lights 5K - Evansville

Bright Lights 5K & 1-Mile Walk is held at Garvin Park in Evansville, near Bosse Field. The 5K route covers about 2.88 miles, run as three loops around the park, starting near Morgan Ave and following the light-show route past seven illuminated trees; a water stop is near the end of loop one. A separate 1-Mile Walk is also offered, with no shirt included.

The event creates a pedestrian-friendly nighttime atmosphere, with the park closed to vehicle traffic and no carriage rides; dogs are allowed only as service animals.
