Broken Brain Backyard

Broken Brain Backyard is a ultradistance running event held in Craig, Colorado, on June 7, 2025. Participants can choose between the Backyard Ultra, where runners complete a 4.167-mile loop every hour until only one remains, or the Citizen’s Race, a more relaxed 4.167-mile run, walk, or skip with no time limit. The event aims to raise funds for Parkinson’s, ALS, and Alzheimer’s organizations.

The Backyard Ultra is limited to 75 entrants, with awards including water bottles, caps, and a winner’s mug. The Citizen’s Race is open to all and features prizes and merchandise drawings.
