About the race
Brown Bear Salmon Run is a trail race held at Snoqualmie Pass, Washington, hosted by Evergreen Trail Runs in partnership with Brown Bear Car Wash. The single-distance event covers 15 kilometers on a mix of scenic singletrack and Forest Service/ski-area roads, with rolling ridges near the Snoqualmie Ridgeline and sweeping summit views. Elevation gain is around 1,900 feet, making it a moderately challenging course.
Special features include a free Woodland Speeders Kids Race (about 1 mile), a cupless format encouraging refillable bottles, on-course aid drops, and course markings while sharing trails with other users. The course is fully US Forest Service–permitted and honors Snoqualmie and Coast Salish lands. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
