Bryce Canyon
The Bryce Canyon Ultra Marathons, held in Hatch, Utah, offer challenging trail races at high elevations between 7,000 and 9,000 feet on the Paunsaugunt Plateau. The event features multiple distances: 30K, 50K, 60K, and 50 miles, with a 100-mile race returning in 2026. The courses traverse rugged single-track and doubletrack trails, showcasing spectacular views above and below Bryce Canyon’s iconic hoodoos.
Runners experience significant elevation changes, technical terrain, and scenic loops such as the Golden Wall Trail and Thunder Mountain Trail. Aid stations and drop bag support are provided, with crew and pacers allowed for longer distances. The race emphasizes a remote, natural atmosphere with limited spectator access.
