Event overview

The BTC Statue to Statue 15k is scheduled for Saturday, April 4, 2026, in Birmingham, Alabama. This is the 34rd running of the Ellis Porch Statue to Statue 15k. The event is hosted by the Birmingham Track Club and is part of the BTC Race Series, a bundle of four races offered each year. Current BTC members receive a discounted entry. Course and logistics

The race is a point-to-point course that starts near the Vulcan statue and finishes near the Statue of Liberty, running through neighborhoods of Mountain Brook. The course is described as gently rolling and generally downhill for the first six miles, then includes two notable hills followed by a mile-and-a-half downhill finish. Runners are encouraged to park at the finish area and use free transportation provided by the race to the start line. There is no transportation provided from the finish line back to the start line after the race. The event is sometimes referred to as "The South's Toughest 15k."
