Event details
The Buck Rut Run takes place on Sunday, November 2, 2025, in Minocqua, Wisconsin. It is the 30th edition of the event and is held at Minocqua Winter Park, 7543 Squirrel Hill Road, Minocqua, WI 54548. The event is a 5K trail run that uses the Minocqua Winter Park trail system. A course map is provided by the organizer.
Registration and awards
Online registration is open from July 1 through November 1, 2025. Early registration pricing (July 1 through August 31) is $25 for adults and $20 for ages 1-18. Regular registration pricing (September 1 through November 1) is $30 for adults and $25 for ages 1-18. Race day registration fee is $40 for all age groups. Registration includes a t-shirt, a custom race bib for the first 50 registrants, and post-race snacks. To be guaranteed a t-shirt, registration must be completed before October 20, 2025. Awards will be given to the overall male and female winners and to the top male and female in the following age groups: 10 and under, 11-13, 14-18, 19-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, and 80+.
