About the race
Buddy Run 5K and Fun Run takes place at Lake Park, 17302 N Dale Mabry Hwy, Lutz, Florida. The in-person events include a 5K, a 1-mile, and the Buddy Dash, with virtual 5K and virtual 1-mile options for remote participants. Hosted by Congregation Beth Am Tampa, the fundraiser benefits Buddy Baseball, a non-competitive league for children with special needs; each player is paired with a Buddy to encourage participation and camaraderie.
This marks the fifteenth year at Lake Park, and features an out-and-back 5K course with start/finish near the Eagle Shelter. A $2 parking/road-use fee applies. A referral program offers rebates for attracting teammates. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
