Buffalo Stampede Half Marathon
The Buffalo Stampede is an annual running event held in Bryan, Texas, benefiting the Brazos Valley Museum of Natural History. The 17th edition features a 5K race and a 1-mile fun run on USATF certified courses. The 5K course is scenic, gently rolling, relatively flat, and fast, passing through open country, neighborhoods, and parks, with a downhill finish ideal for personal records.
The event offers live timing, awards for overall and age-group finishers, and unique buffalo-themed trophies and medals. Participants receive T-shirts, and cheer stations along the route add to the supportive atmosphere. The race concludes with the Boonville Days Texas Heritage Festival at the museum.
