Buffalo Stampede Half Marathon
The Buffalo Stampede is an annual running event held in Bryan, Texas, benefiting the Brazos Valley Museum of Natural History. The 17th edition features a 5K race and a 1-mile fun run on USATF certified courses. The 5K course is scenic, relatively flat, and fast, winding through open country, neighborhoods, and parks with a downhill finish, ideal for personal records.
The event offers live timing, cheer stations along the route, and awards for overall and age-group finishers. Participants receive T-shirts and finisher medals. The race day is part of the larger Boonville Days festival, which includes heritage activities and free museum admission. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
Always double-check with the organizer's website – things can change, and we might have sprinted past a few details!
