Event overview
The 33rd Annual Burgettstown Turkey Trot 5K Fun Run & Fitness Walk takes place on Thursday, November 27, 2025, at Burgettstown High School, 104 Bavington Road, Burgettstown, PA 15021. The event offers two distances:
- 5K run
- 5K fitness walk
The course finishes back at the school and includes a final climb known locally as "the hill." Proceeds support the Burgettstown Cross Country and Track & Field programs. All participants receive a commemorative turkey trot t-shirt.
Entry, awards and other details
Individual entry pricing varies by registration date: $30 (Sept 22 - Oct 5), $35 (Oct 6 - Nov 23), and $40 (Nov 24 through race day). A family pack is available for up to seven participants; groups of four or more can use multi-person pricing and save $2.50 per participant when registering together.
Awards for the 5K run include top 3 overall men and women and age-group awards two deep in these groups: 10 and under; 11-14; 15-19; 20-29; 30-39; 40-49; 50-59; 60-69; 70+. Awards for the 5K fitness walk go to the top 2 men and women in these categories: 19 and under; 20-39; 40-59; 60+. A course map and packet pick-up information are provided by the organizers.
