About the race
The Burn The Bird event in Great Falls, Montana, is a festive running and walking event held annually on Thanksgiving morning. It features three distances: a 10K, a 5K, and a 1.33-mile fun run/walk, which is one lap around Gibson Park where the race starts. The event offers a spirited atmosphere with the first 400 participants receiving special Burn The Bird socks.
A portion of the proceeds supports the Rivers Edge Trail. The race encourages community participation and fitness to close out the year with a Turkey Trot.
