Burning Man Ultramarathon 50k
The Burning Man Ultramarathon is a 50k running event held at Burning Man in the Black Rock Desert, Nevada. The event is based at Pink Lightning Camp, located at 7:15 & C on the playa. The published date for the event is Tuesday, August 25th, 2026. Results for 2025 are noted as forthcoming.
Logistics and conditions
Entry to the race is free, but participants must hold a Burning Man ticket and complete event registration. Bib pickup is available on Sunday or Monday at Pink Lightning Camp; participants are asked to check in before race morning. The event is volunteer-run; volunteer sign-ups begin in May 2026, and donations are accepted to support the race.
