BVA Boosters Turkey Trot : Belle Vernon, PA
The BVA Boosters Turkey Trot takes place on Thursday, November 27, 2025, at North Belle Vernon Community Park, 725 Graham Street, Belle Vernon, PA 15012. The event features two entries, a 5k run and a 5k walk, each listed at $35 with the fee increasing after November 26, 2025. The race benefits the BVA middle and high school sports teams. The course loops around the town of North Belle Vernon and includes a few small hills. The event program includes a Chinese auction and a coffee and hot chocolate bar. Prizes will be awarded for best dressed, farthest traveled participant, youngest participant, and oldest participant.
Practical information and awards
Registration takes place on race morning at the park. Awards are given to top overall finishers and in age groups: 13 and under; 14-19; 20-29; 30-39; 40-49; 50-59; 60-69; 70-79; and 80 and over. If a participant is registered as a runner they may walk, but participants registered as walkers may not run. There will be no age group ceremony; results can be checked after the race and awards for overall top 3 or top 3 in each age group must be picked up at the registration table on the day of the event. Parking is available at Duritiza's Market (735 Henry Street), the bottom lot of St. Sebastian Church, and on nearby streets. A course map is available as a downloadable PDF.
