Participation and logistics

Registration is free and requires signing a waiver through the race registration system. Runner and biker entries are open to ages 16 to 100; support vehicle entries are open to ages 18 to 100. Participants may run in shifts and may join or leave the route at different schools. Biking is permitted. Support vehicles follow the group, provide water and nutrition, and also visit schools to interact with students. The group follows prescribed paces between schools, with an overall target pace typically between 10:30 and 11:30 minutes per mile; participants who cannot maintain the required pace may be asked to ride in a support vehicle until the next school for safety reasons. Bathrooms are available at each school. Participants are asked to wear Cruiser or CABOT gear or the colors red, black, and white, and to bring snacks and drinks to share; coolers will be available.
