Calarat Challenge Trail Running Festival

The Calarat Challenge Trail Running Festival takes place in Jamestown, Colorado, at the scenic Cal-Wood Education Center and Balarat Outdoor Education Center. Held over Labor Day weekend, the event features multiple trail races including a half marathon, 10K, 5K, Kids 1K, and combination races like 5K plus half marathon or 10K. The courses traverse beautiful private trails, offering a natural and immersive running experience.

The festival includes Saturday evening races and Sunday morning events, with lodging, camping, and a pasta dinner available. An after-race party with food, beer, and music celebrates participants. A supervised Kid Adventure Time program is offered for children during race times.
