Camp Leavenworth 5K

Camp Leavenworth 5K is a community running and walking event in Leavenworth, Kansas. The centerpiece is a single-loop 5K on closed roads that begins in downtown Leavenworth, heads toward the Missouri River bluffs for scenic high river views, then loops back to the start. Open to runners and walkers, with a separate under-18 option.

Finishers receive sunflowers and an event shirt; finishers 21 and up get a free beer/beverage ticket. A $350 prize purse is awarded to top finishers, and there are on-course cheerleaders, age-group awards, and a stroller division. Kids under 18 run free; two aid stations along the course.
