Event overview
Cannonball Run takes place April 10-12, 2026 at Broxton Bridge Plantation in Ehrhardt, South Carolina. The event offers multiple entry options: a 34-hour timed event, a Last Man Standing format, a ruck division, and a youth entry category for runners 14 and under. Primitive camping is included with registration and the property provides a bathhouse with toilets and hot showers. RV sites and two on-property bed and breakfast rooms are available through Broxton Bridge.
Course, format and logistics
The course is a 3.3-mile loop over dirt roads, double-track trails, and maintained grassy sections, with about 49 feet of elevation gain per loop. There is one aid station at the start/finish that will be stocked with snacks, drinks, PBJ, coffee and hydration mix. Packet pickup is at the aid station/merch tent on the Friday before the event. Last Man Standing runners must complete each loop within a 48-minute interval and return to the start line each interval; runners receive 5, 2 and 1-minute warnings before each loop. Finishers who complete at least one loop receive a medal; 100-mile finishers receive a buckle. The Last Man Standing winner receives an engraved cannonball. The event runs rain or shine except in specified extreme conditions; refunds are not offered but race credits and transfers are available under stated conditions.
