Cape Fear 24 Hour

Registration Facebook

The Cape Fear 24 Hour is an endurance running event held in Lillington, North Carolina, featuring a USATF certified 0.59-mile asphalt loop around local Parks and Recreation baseball fields. The mostly flat course includes one small incline and is well-lit at night by park lights, eliminating the need for headlamps. Participants can run any distance they choose over 24 hours, supported by a fully stocked aid station offering typical ultra foods, drinks, and later, hot meals like hamburgers and pizza.

The event encourages costume running with a special award and donates all proceeds to the Buddy Backpack program of Harnett County. Parking and tent setup near cars are available, with restrooms conveniently close. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.

Always double-check with the organizer's website – things can change, and we might have sprinted past a few details!
