Captain Fleming's Gator Fun Run

Captain Fleming’s Second Annual Gator Fun Run is a 5K event taking place at Omaha's Henry Doorly Zoo & Aquarium, commemorating a historical incident involving alligators and Captain Charles R. Fleming. Participants can enjoy a family-friendly atmosphere while running two laps around the zoo's main loop.

A $50 donation grants entry, a t-shirt, and all-day access to the zoo. Proceeds benefit the Omaha Firefighters Historical Society and the Omaha Fire Union’s Cancer Benevolent Fund, supporting the history of the fire department and aiding firefighters undergoing cancer treatment.
