Carolina Comeback 5K

The Carolina Comeback 5K is a run/walk event held at McAlpine Creek Park in Charlotte, North Carolina. Scheduled for August 30, 2025, it features a 5K race along scenic trails used for major regional high school competitions, including the Foot Locker Southeast Regional Championships. The event also includes a Fun Run for children 12 and under, consisting of one lap around the lake.

Organized by the Stride Forward Foundation, a nonprofit founded by local high school students, all profits support the Buncombe County Schools Foundation's recovery efforts following Hurricane Helene.
