Carolina Reaper Challenge 50k
The Carolina Reaper Challenge is a fiery endurance race held at Riverwest Nature Preserve in Greenville, South Carolina. Participants can choose from a 50k ultra (12 loops), half marathon (5 loops), 5-mile race (2 loops), or a 12-loop relay for teams of 2-4. The course is a paved 2.62-mile loop featuring rolling hills, wooden bridges, waterfalls, and riverfront views on a former golf course.
Runners must complete each lap within 45 minutes to continue, adding a competitive edge. The event offers finisher medals, custom race bibs, tattoos, giveaways, and live timing. Aid stations provide snacks and hydration, but runners must bring their own cups.
