Event overview
The Carson City Turkey Trot takes place on Thursday, November 27, 2025, in Carson City, NV, at the Governor's Mansion (606 Mountain St). The event offers multiple course options:
- 5K (3.1 miles)
- 8K (5 miles)
- Gobble Wobble Kids Fun Run
The kids fun run follows a marked loop on Mountain, Washington, Richmond, and King streets. Parking is available on surrounding streets on a first-come, first-served basis. The event will use a running race clock and will not use bibs.
Registration, shirts and awards
Registration fees are listed as $25 per person for the 5K and 8K, increasing to $30 after October 31 and to $35 after November 12. Children 12 and under are $20 for all races. There will be no same-day registration. Event shirts are provided for all participants who register by November 12; shirts are not guaranteed for later registration. T-shirt pick up is scheduled for Wednesday, November 26, 4:00-6:00 PM at St. Teresa's School, 567 S. Richmond Street, Carson City, NV 89703. Awards include pumpkin pies and medals for the top three finishers in each race and gift cards from Reno Running Company for the top three overall finishers.
