Cats & Bats Haunted 5K

The Cats & Bats Haunted 5K is a festive running event held annually at Festival Park in Aberdeen, Maryland. Scheduled for October 25, 2025, it features a USATF certified, flat and fast 5K course ideal for runners and walkers. The event offers a live 5K race, a 1-mile untimed fun run, and a virtual 5K option for remote participants.

All participants receive a custom commemorative finisher's medal, race shirt, and post-race food and drinks. Awards are given for overall and age group winners. This rain-or-shine event supports the National PTSD Foundation, benefiting local first responders.
