CCD’s Holiday Race for Recovery 5K is a family-friendly walk/run held on Sunday, December 7, 2025, in Historic New Castle, Delaware. Purpose, awards and race day details
Proceeds benefit CCD’s adult recovery and community outreach programs. CCD’s CARE program provides housing and case management for people recovering from substance use disorder. CCD’s CORE program provides community-based outreach services to people affected by health disparities and substance use related stigma.
Awards are given for Overall Male/Female and Overall Masters Male/Female, plus the top three in each age group for male and female. Age groups are: 9 and under; 10-13; 14-19; 20-29; 30-39; 40-49; 50-59; 60-69; 70+. Overall and Masters results are based on gun time; age group awards are based on chip time.
