Cedarville Charge 10k

Event

The Cedarville Charge 5k & 10k takes place on March 22, 2026 at Cedarville State Forest in Brandywine, Maryland (10201 Bee Oak Rd). Points from the races count toward the Year-Long 5k, 10k & Back of the Pack Series and the Winter Series. A virtual race option is available. There is a daily entry fee for Cedarville State Forest that participants must pay.

Course and race information

The route mixes trail and paved roads around the campgrounds and has no major hills. The 10k consists of two laps of the 5k course. Runners receive a finisher’s medal, a technical (DriFit) event shirt, and the race is chip timed. Water stations are placed at approximately mile 1.5 on the 5k, and at miles 1.5, 3.1 and 4.6 on the 10k; Gatorade will be available at some stations. Restrooms are onsite.

Packet pickup is available at the event; organizers recommend arriving about one hour before the race to check in. Race day registration is offered, though t-shirt sizes cannot be guaranteed for same-day registrants. T-shirts are guaranteed for registrations received before March 11. Registration fees listed by the organizer: 5k $30 (rises to $35 after Feb 28), 10k $45 (rises to $50 after Feb 28); prices increase by $5 on race morning. Live results will be posted on Athlinks and final results with series points will be posted the Monday after the race.
