Event overview
The Centurion Ultra Trail Event takes place in Roosevelt Forest, Stratford, Connecticut on Saturday June 27, 2026. The main race challenges runners to complete 100 miles within a 33-hour limit. The field is limited to 50 participants. Runners who reach 100 miles within the time limit receive a buckle; all finishers receive a Forbidden Forest Commendation. Registration is final with no refunds, bib transfers, or deferrals. Entrants must be at least 18 years old or have a parental or guardian waiver. CDC, state, and town requirements are applied.
Course and logistics
The race uses a looped trail course described as a 2.1-mile loop with about 193 feet of elevation gain per lap, featuring roots, rocks, and rolling hills typical of New England terrain. The pavilion serves as the primary aid station; porta potties are available nearby. Tents, canopies, and personal crew stations may be set up on the day before the race in a designated field, but overnight camping on that night is not allowed by town ordinance. Parking is limited; larger vehicles should use the side lot and RVs are not permitted. Dogs are allowed as spectators but must be kept on leash. Pacers are permitted under race rules after runners meet the organizer’s criteria; one pacer per runner is allowed and pacers must register and sign a waiver or risk disqualification for the runner.
