Event overview
The Centurion Ultra at Roosevelt Forest in Stratford, CT is a timed ultra event in which runners attempt to complete 100 miles within 33 hours. Top finishers are the three fastest men and three fastest women to reach 100 miles within the 33-hour limit. All runners who reach 100 miles receive a buckle, and all finishers receive a Forbidden Forest Commendation. Entry is limited to 50 participants. Registration is final; there are no refunds, bib transfers, or deferrals. Participants must be at least 18 years old or have a parental or guardian signed waiver. CDC, state, and town requirements are applied.
Course and race logistics
The race is run on a multi-lap trail course through classic New England terrain with roots, rocks, rolling hills, and about 193 feet of elevation gain per lap. The pavilion serves as the only aid station; porta potties are located nearby. Tents, canopies, and personal crew stations may be set up in the designated rest and recuperation field adjacent to the pavilion during the posted setup window; overnight camping on the Friday before the race is prohibited by town ordinance. Parking is limited and larger vehicles should use the side lot; RVs are not permitted. Dogs are allowed as spectators but must be kept on leash. Pacers are permitted after 12 hours into the race or once a runner has completed 60 miles; one pacer per runner at a time, pacers must register, sign a waiver, and pay the applicable fee.
