About the race
On Thanksgiving Day, November 27, 2025, in Bismarck, North Dakota, the CFA Turkey Trot is the organization’s largest annual fundraiser for families living with cystic fibrosis. The event offers a 5K option (3 miles/5 kilometers) in multiple formats: a computer-timed 5K, a 5K race walk, a 5K family fun walk (untimed), and a 5K virtual race. The course starts on Arbor Avenue, just west of South Washington Street, with parking at The Elks Club, Natural Grocers, and Family Fare.
The day promotes a festive, giving atmosphere, with costumes encouraged and prizes for best-dressed and most spirited participants. Registrations by Nov 1 include a long-sleeve shirt.
